"Working Out" is a performance art piece in two parts. The "Sweet Lady" wants to get red of her ballast; her sugarskirt is heavy to carry and pinches her waist. As soon as she releases herself from the sweet weight, she puts herself under a different pressure while trying to keep up with the body cult, manifested in the 80s fitness icon Jane Fonda, dominant in the time, and still today. It's a piece of work on being a woman in Modern Culture while playing with the clichés that common women are confronted with.

Claudia Bucher, Actor and Author

Claudia Bucher was born in Zug Swizterland and currently resides in Lucerne . She has received fine arts training at London 's City & Guilds Art School and Switzerland 's Hochshule fur Gestaltung. Since 1997 Ms. Bucher has won numerous prizes for her art including 1st Prize Foundation Show ( London ); 2003 Studio Scholarship Städtepartnerschaft Luzern-Chicago (Chicago) and 2007 Young Artist Publication Series ( Switzerland ).

Mikhael Tara Garver , Director

Mikhael Tara Garver was born in Washington D.C. and received her undergraduate degree in Theater from Northwestern University in 2000. Since graduating she has assisted quite a few visionary directors in American Theater ( Martha Clarke, Gary Griffin, Jeremy Cohen, and Charlie Newell) and directed and choreographed at quite a few prominent Chicago theaters (Timeline Theater Company, Naked Eye Theater Company, Court Theater, American Theater Company, Northlight Theater Company, and Collaboraction). Her largest investment has been in the founding, development, and leadership of Uma Productions where she is the artistic director.
